Mario Martín works for the Spanish and Portuguese Department at the University of San Diego. Originally, he came from Mexico to study Mexican Literature at UC Irvine. Then he came to San Diego State University to be in charge of Mexican Literature and Cultures. Here he describes his work with LARC on the distance education program for Baja California literature.
